A boutique studio look

Case study · Pilates Dynamics, Johannesburg
Pilates Dynamics has taught Pilates in Randburg, Johannesburg, for nineteen years and trains the instructors who teach it elsewhere. We rebuilt its website as a fast, hand-built boutique site, then kept going: a member portal, real studio photography, a search plan for every page and a blog rewritten for Google and AI search.
The challenge
Pilates Dynamics is a full-apparatus studio and an accredited teacher-training school, rated 4.6 stars from more than 177 Google reviews. It already ranked well locally, but its website didn't match the studio, and years of blog posts had started to compete with each other.
What we did
Mobile-first, in the warm sand, aubergine and olive of the studio's own logo, with an editorial serif and one line that says it all: "pilates, taught properly." On phones, WhatsApp, Call and Book stay one tap away.
Static HTML, one stylesheet and one small script, with no page builder or framework. Photos in AVIF and WebP, the hero loaded first, and a weekly timetable the studio updates from one data file.
FAQ markup is added automatically to every post with a questions section, so search engines and AI tools can read the answers directly. New how-to guides answer what people actually ask, like "How to choose a Pilates studio near you".
Real studio photography throughout, a "Bring your Bestie" free-class offer with its own top bar, pop-up and photo carousel, the Meta Pixel tracking enquiries as leads, and spam filtering on every form.
The result
Pilates Dynamics now has a site that looks like the studio feels, loads fast on every device and gives every page and post its own job in search. Bookings, course enquiries and campaigns all run through it, and the studio can keep writing without undoing the plan.
