Privacy policy

Destiny Digital Consulting LLC ("we"), a company registered in Delaware, USA, with its team in Johannesburg, South Africa, respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through destinydigital.net, why, and your rights. We process personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where it applies, the EU and UK GDPR and US state privacy laws.

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email address, what you want to build and your message.
• If you tick the news box: your consent, the wording you agreed to, and when you agreed. We send a confirmation email first and only add you once you confirm.
• When you use the site: basic technical information such as your browser and IP address, used to keep our forms safe from spam and abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange an idea session or demo, prepare any proposal you ask for, provide services to clients, and, only if you opted in, send occasional email about building apps and websites. We do not sell your information.

Who processes it for us

Enquiries are stored in our client platform, the DD portal, which runs on a secure hosted database (Supabase) and sends email through a transactional email provider (Postmark). The site itself is served by Cloudflare. These providers act on our instructions and may store data in the United States or the European Union, with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for any follow-up you agree to. Client records are kept for the period the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to its processing, or withdraw your marketing consent. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. If you are in South Africa you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za); in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.

Client logins

The client portal at portal.destinydigital.co.za uses a cookie to keep you signed in. It is needed for the login to work and is not used for tracking.

Our other websites

petwyse.net and theafricaanalyst.com are run by the same company and have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use those sites or products.
